Chelsea is currently in NYC writing on Jon Stewart’s new HBO project. She is an alum of the Second City Mainstage where she wrote and performed the show Fool Me Twice, Deja Vu — the press called her “An even more fearless version of Tina Fey who could totally out drink you and kick your ass” and “The Michael Jordan of the bunch.” She also wrote and performed the Jeff-Nominated revues, Panic on Cloud 9 and Depraved New World, and the press quotes from those shows are not as cool. In her free time she writes material for motivational speaker and U.S. Army Vet, Dr. Bose, who served as Saddam Hussein’s doctor. She also performs as a Drag Queen (yes, cis-ladies can be Drag Queens) and won Berlin Nightclub’s Crash Landing Drag Queen Competition in Chicago.

She co-created and wrote the hit web series, Modern Women on The Second City Network, as well as the pilot, Stupid Bitch Syndrome, which was a finalist at The 2013 New York Television Festival. She toured with The Second City’s RedCo, Improvised with The Second City’s Improv Allstars, and once performed on a cruise-ship for four months. She is a member of the sketch group, It’s Megan, whose pilot was featured at last year’s New York Television Festival. Her sketch videos have been featured on the Huffington Post and the front page of Funny or Die.

She studied comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade, i.O., The Annoyance, and The Comedy Studies Program through Columbia College. She studied International Relations at The United World College where she received an International Baccalaureate.  After that she somehow enrolled in dramatic acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and she now spends her time regretting taking out thousands of dollars in loans. She grew up all over the Southwest, but has called New Mexico home for the past ten years.

Chelsea is managed by Principato Young Entertainment and represented by APA for lit.
